I make films for people whose work is better experienced than explained.

I’m a filmmaker, director, and editor in Austin, Texas.

Most of the people I work with are really, really good at what they do. The hard part isn’t usually explaining it. It’s getting the feeling of the thing across.

Like — what is it actually like to be in the room with you? Why do your clients trust you? What happens when the work is working?

That’s the stuff I’m interested in.

I ask a lot of questions, spend a lot of time looking for the story underneath the obvious story, shoot it as honestly and beautifully as I can, and then obsess over it in the edit until it feels right.

I’m not really interested in making more content just because the internet wants more content.

I want to make the thing that makes someone go:

Oh. I get it now.
